What we Do

Tyer’s Processing has been serving local Texans since 1976 for all their needs related to meat processing for domestic livestock including calves, hogs, lambs and goats.

Our 40 years of experience has helped us to master a perfect final product to satisfy all the meat processing needs for our local customer base. Our retail shop also has plenty of meat products including our famous Cajun and German sausage. For beef, we can provide all the different cuts you want and can bring it back to you with our classic seasoning. For Hogs, we can give you pork chops, ham, ribs, bacon, and smoked sausage.

Tyer’s Processing begins its partnership with participating Houston County Farms, enabling customers to source high quality livestock, have it processed, packed, and ready for the freezer for customers.

David’s brother, Terry, continues the family legacy and takes over plant operations and moves the plant to its current location on FM 2022 just inside of loop #304 in Crockett, Texas.

Henry’s eldest son, David, takes ownership of the plant and builds up its processing facility to start serving local ranchers, hunters, and livestock shows.

Henry D. Tyer, an avid fisherman and hunter, founds Tyer’s Processing in Crockett, Texas as a grocery store and meat processing facility in the town center.
